Read what some of our new owners have said about their CaliMaine Coons...

Thank you for entrusting the kittens to us. They had an easy trip home, and are seemingly very comfortable in their new surroundings. The boys and kittens are having a blast. At about 4:30 this morning, we were awoken by two little rascals jumping on the bed and wrestling with any lump that appeared under the covers - toes, knees and fingers. Jack said that it was the world's best alarm clock! The kittens are a true blessing for our lives and make our home a happier place with their presence. Lew, Stacey, Jack and Cole, Los Angeles, California

I'm please to tell you that my husband is madly in love with his kitten! Copernic is so much fun! He is following us everywhere. He wants to try everything, to see everything. Catherine, San Diego, California

We’re home safe and sound. A few mews along the way were calmed by singing a selection of Christmas carols and she even napped for awhile. She is exploring Chris’ room and has already started to purr. She was a little worried about the kitten in the mirror, but decided it was not a problem. Thanks again for a delightful little lady – we are so blessed to be able to cherish this new member of the family! I’ll keep you posted on the transition, but I’m sure all will work out wonderfully. Kim M., Irvine, California

We just love our, “Bella Joy!” She is the best kitty! We can’t begin to thank you and Bill for all the time and hard work you put into socializing and caring for your kittens. It’s obvious the love you put into your animals.
Bella has been the best thing for all. She loves to play with her older sister, Olivia. They will play, run around, chase and groom each other. Even Sasha, our other cat, who is significantly older, tolerates her antics. Both our cats just seem happier since we’ve had Bella around. She is the sweetest kitty. She makes the cutest chirping sounds and is just adorable when she runs around the house with her toy mouse in her mouth. She just loves everyone that she comes in contact with. All of our family and friends can’t get over how sweet and beautiful she is.
Her markings are just spectacular and her colors are coming in beautifully. She is definitely going to be a big girl. At six months, she is more than half the size of our other Maine Coon, Olivia, who is two years old.
Bella is especially attached to her human mommy and daddy as she is always near us, sleeps with us every night. She loves to curl up on our chests, be petted and purrs non-stop. We fell immediately in love with Bella and were so impressed with her and you and Bill that the following month after we got her home, we put a deposit down on another kitten. We will be bringing home a boy this time…Tiberius; we can’t wait for our new addition to come home! We want to thank you both for entrusting us with Bella and Tiberius…to come. Bella has brought us much love, joy, and happiness, as we are sure her brother, Tiberius, will also bring! Leslie and Rudy C., Santa Ana, California
Next to join their family was Tiberius...

I have to tell you "Our Boy" is just the best kitty ever! We got him home and went straight to the bedroom with him and opened the carrier and let him out to explore. He immediately went behind the bed and figured out how to get in and out from behind it. We have blocked it in such a way that the cats can't get underneath but, can go behind. We have a four poster bed and he already has learned how to use the stool to climb onto the bed. Next he hid in the bathroom for a while which, is attached to our room. Within the hour he had already started to bond with both us, purring and craving to be petted. He even got so comfortable that he laid on this back and lets us rub his belly. He just is the most beautiful, sweet, loving, social cat...we can't say enough about him and the care and love you obviously put into your animals. I am sure it was difficult to part with him but, please know he has gone to a loving home and we will definitely keep in touch with you and send pictures periodically. If you're ever in Orange County, we would love for you to visit him and our other cats. ...We are not religious people by any means but, may God bless you both for taking the huge responsibility of raising such wonderful pets...your dogs are equally as delightful.
Then Valentino joined the family...

We are so happy with Valentino! The car ride home was a breeze. He was a little scared at the beginning but, then fell asleep until we got home and didn't make a peep. We first isolated him in the room for an hour or so and he got familiar with the bedroom really fast! He ate a little and used the litter box. Then we introduced him to some toys and once he figured them out he just wanted to play and play. Next we let Tiberius into the room and VALENTINO (he's a feisty one, we love it) hissed at Tiberius once or twice and Tiberius didn't even flinch! After that, Valentino was off playing and Tiberius was just keeping watch over him like a big brother...it is truly amazing to see how nurturing Tiberius is! Not that I would show him, but if he were to be shown, he would make the perfect show cat because of his calm and sweet nature...nothing phases him! After a while, we said what the heck and opened the door to the bedroom and let them all interact. Valenino's a smart little guy who is in the mix and tries everything his bothers and sisters do. He is a jumper and climber...you should see him, he is too cute! Once he tuckered out, he took turns sleeping in our arms. He slept in his little bed that is right between our pillows...he slept the whole night and only got up when we did...I know, I make him sound like he's an infant! He's such a cuddle bug! :) We just wanted him to have one night where it was just him and us. Today, he was curled up with the Tiberius on the cat condo and Bella was in the cubby right next to them. Rudy had put Valentino in the cubby with Tiberius to see what they would do and Tiberius reached over and put his arm around Valentino and they just fell asleep together. So needless to say, things are better than I could ever imagine! Thank you, thank you, thank you, for letting us take this little guy home. Well our experience with you both has been an absolute pleasure! Thank you for entrusting us with your children...I know that is how much they mean to you, because that is what they mean to us! We are definitely done for now, as far as how many kitties we have. We'll keep in touch for sure and many pictures to come!

"Though you and Bill might like to see a photo of Fabrizio at age 5 months. He is much taller and longer than Bubba (the Siberian) who is 8 months old. They get along really well and love to play together, steal each others toys, and romp through the house at full speed. We put up a Christmas tree, only to take it down three days later, as the cats had thrown full body blocks on it and tried to carry ornaments off to their toy boxes. We could not trust either of them to be alone in the area of the tree, so we decided it was better to remove the ornaments, lights and garland and put the tree out in patio room - which they consider their own play room. They are the most adorable, most fun kittens that I have ever had the pleasure of sharing a house with. Fabrizio trills and Bubba answers with chirps and they seem to understand what each other is saying. We. Roger and I, thank you so much for choosing us as Fabrizio's parents. He has brought us hours and days filled with love and laughter. Liz and Roger B.

"He [George] is absolutely the best kitten. He tolerates the girls to no end. They cuddle and carry and chase him, and he gives it right back. The baby adores him and tries to hug on him constantly. Not only does he not fight her, but the purring just intensifies. He is a hoot around the dogs too... Constantly grabbing their tails and cleaning their ears. Too funny. I just wanted to thank you so much for him and the way he was raised. I couldn't be happier with him." Nicole P.,
Corona, California
Later, we received this update:
"The baby and he are thick as thieves-- she always sets chairs up for her and him to sit on."

"I would like to wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
My Christmas is sure a whole lot brighter with my Sir Hector. He is happy and thriving, getting bigger and more wonderful every day. He is so sweet and loving. We play a lot with the toys he has and remember how I made him jump when I came for a visit when he was a little baby? Well, now he jumps 3 and 4 feet in the air at a time. He almost reaches my height. ...
Hector is a real joy to me, and I can't imagine life without him. Thank you so much for this beautiful love." Kelly M., Temecula, California
Hector has grown up...

I wanted to show you a recent picture of Hector...He is wonderful and getting bigger by the day...He is 22 pounds of love. He jumps on us like he thinks he is still a 3 pound baby! Oooof!...I love it...I also included a couple pics from two of his friends from Chemicoons......Henry and Garbrielle. All happy and healthy romping around the cat trees....What a life huh? It's great. Kelly M., Temecula, California

Sampson is now two and a half years old and is doing great. Sam has clearly emerged as the alpha cat over his two older brothers (Mango is four, Tyler was just six). Everyone that sees him just loves him, and his personality is terrific. John K., Escondido, California

"What can we say! Christopher is so beautifully socialized,
wonderfully loving, happy, well adjusted that we couldn't be more
delighted. During the last half of the ride to his new home,
Christopher was laying upside down (like a baby) in my arms, looking
at me like I was the love of his life. Saturday night, we all slept
on the bed together, which was hard to believe that Serena would
allow this to happen so quickly. Christopher is entertaining her with
his playfulness and they have done "the nose to nose" touch a number
of times. ... Thanks for taking such good care of Christopher's first three months of
life. We know it was done with loving care. Jan and Darrel M,
Costa Mesa, California

"...[Maggy] follows me everywhere and is the most curious cat we've ever had. Also the most cuddly." Linda and Bruce S.,
La Jolla, California
Later, we received this update:
"Maggie continues to thrive with us. We are bonded to this adorable kitten."
And, at a year old, we received this update:
"Our Maggie is thriving and is the most gorgeous girl ever, and the sweetest. We adore her."

"It's been nearly two weeks now since Uno [we now call him Cosmo] came to live with us. He is
such a treasure! He and the other cats get along well and he is so
curious and still sleeps with us each night. I love how he hunches his
back up when he gets pet and he has such strong ears. Can you tell
we're crazy about him!" Cynthia N.,
Bow, Washington
Later, we received this update:
"Well, the (not so) little guy just had his 1st birthday. He got some tuna and toys. Cosmo is as dear as the first time I met him. He is strong, healthy and sweet and still walks around looking for some trouble to get into. His paws are still bigger than he is and his tail is enormous. His white markings are pure white and he snuggles with us each night. We treasure him."

"Moose (he's 9 years old)... [and Buster] are getting along famously. Michael & I are deeply grateful for the obvious care you've taken to raise Buster, as he is very confident and loving. We're tickled to find that he actually wants to be a lap kitten, although we think that because it's not summer time, he likes the body heat we provide. That's ok, we're just happy to have him a part of our family." Karen and Michael W.,
Oak Park, California

"...I am so pleased that I was led to consider adopting two boys from the same litter. It would have been a shame to take a single kitten with no peer to be with. These two take care of each other, talk to each other, call for each other, always sleep together. Where one is, there is the other. It's like having identical twins. The way they look at me is so adorable. I have been blessed. The boys certainly are making their contribution to my life in many gracious and fun-filled ways." Gerry W.,
San Diego, California

"Everything is going great with Bear. Or, as we now call him, Oso, meaning Bear in Spanish. He has become a wonderful addition to our family. He is slowly but surely growing up to be a beautiful Maine Coon. Most likely he takes after his father. All I can say is thank you so much. You have made both my family and I so happy. It is nice to have such a wonderful little companion to follow my family members and I around the house as we live our lives and go about our daily routine. . Thank you once again." Sarah S.,
La Mesa, California

"Marko is a dear little soul. He slept right next to me all night after he learned to scramble up on the bed. He is adjusting beautifully – I am so enjoying that he likes to snuggle." Frumi B.,
Newport Beach, California

"Henry continues to charm all of us. He is a darling kitten and will be very much doted on for all his life. Thanks so much for raising and socializing him so well. We are crazy about him. ...Thank you so much for breeding and raising such a nice boy." Karol and Jack B.,
Dana Point, California
Later, we received this update:
“…he is a love, very bright and full of charm and personality. He vocalizes constantly with an incredible array of sounds and enjoys being with ‘his people’.”
This update was received shortly after Henry turned one year old:
"Such a handsome guy. And he is more loving than ever, sleeping between our heads at night, full of purrs and personality."
Karol and Jack then adopted a CaliMaine playmate for Henry, and we received this update:

"Just a quick note to let you know that Henry and Dickens (because he is one) are getting along wonderfully
well. They romp on their tower, clambering from one level to
another, attacking one another. Very
cute. When not there, they are playing throughout the house, chasing
each other about and wrestling. They spend the bulk of their time
together, day and night. ...Thanks for everything."

"I'm just writing to give you an update. The baby meowed the whole way home, and we had to baby talk him a whole bunch. Once we got home he came right out of the carrier and checked out every single inch of the room, but the second he was out of the carrier he started purring. We played with him a little bit and then we all went in the other room to give him some alone time...but it didn't take long until he started meowing, and so we went back in and gave him all the attention he would possibly take. He slept with me all night, snuggled right up on my head and boy does he have a motor on him. He's already playing with all of his toys and using the little box well and really enjoys those scratching posts. He is the sweetest boy, and I'm so glad he is mine. Thank you guys so much." Julianne N., Glendora, California
